IRON MAN 3 Has Another Villain? General Zod Armor Confirmed?
More possible spoilers from this year's London Toy Fair Lego exhibits. This time there's evidence supporting previous rumors about General Zod's combat mode and another character in Iron Man 3 that Lego tries not to spoil but may have anyway.
First, let's address the Man of Steel portion of the article. Besides announcing Spoiler:[Tor-An]" as a potential Kryptonian sleeper agent on Earth, the LEGO exhibit at the London Toy Fair also features a set where there's a variation of General Zod wearing armor. Certainly makes sense as we saw Michael Shannon wearing a Krptonian suit similar to Superman's and a motion-capture suit, implying he'll be wearing something totally CGI at some point in the film as he's hinted at in the past.
Man of Steel follows the Last Son of Krypton on his epic journey to become mankind's shinning beacon of hope for a brighter future. With the beliefs and values instilled by his adoptive parents Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane) Kent, a young Clark (Henry Cavill) sets out to find his place in the world. But when the nefarious General Zodd (Michael Shannon) arrives on Earth, Clark will have to choose between being a normal human or Kal-el,son of Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and humanity's greatest protector and champion. Filmed in IMAX and shot in Vancouver, Chicago and Plano, Illinois, Man of Steel will be released on June 14, 2013 by Warner Bros. Directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) with a screenplay by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) the Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception) produced feature film will surely be the summer blockbuster of 2013.
Treat this as rumor for now but definitely keep tucked a way in your brain as we inch closer to the release of more tv spots and trailers that will surely reveal more of Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel as we move along.

Based on a screenplay by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) and Drew Pearce (Godzilla, Sherlock Holmes 3).
