If you're a fan of hip-hop duo Gang Starr, you'll be pleased to hear that the next Marvel TV show from Netflix, Luke Cage, will use their song titles for every episode of the series. Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker took to Twitter to unveil the first three, and has promised to do so each Friday until the September 30 premiere.

Without context it's difficult to glean anything from them of course, but this is still a pretty cool way to build hype for the show.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Luke Cage punches onto Netflix on September 30th.

@Killuminatic - Dang, that first one was pretty good, and I generally don't like hip-hop.

Hyped for the series but they are just episode names. Nothing to increase or decrease my hype. If it had a little reference to something then maybe.
