(IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)
*The Dark Knight's "Joker"- Pure chaos and no true motive. That is how the Joker was conceived, and that is how he should be executed. The Dark Knight, although called "overrated", was praised by both critics and fans for the late Heath Ledger's performance. Possibly the only thing he can be criticized for is his lack of being "clown-like" or "funny". However, if Mr. Ledger was still alive, I'm sure he would have made your doubt "disappear".
*Iron Man's "Iron Monger"- One of the things I enjoyed in Iron Man was Jeff Bridges' portrayal of Obadiah Stane. From getting his boss captured by terrorists or stealing his heart, this guy is pure evil. "Hold still you little prick".
*Superman II's "General Zod"- I for one was happy when I saw he was being remade in Man of Steel. This exiled Kyrptonian had all of Superman's powers, 2 partners with the same powers, and an extremely awesome catchphrase. Terrance Stamp portrayed a truly evil villain (unlike the comedic Lex Luthor. Seriously??).
*Spider-man's "Green Goblin"- I will say that no other villain in the Spider-man series matched Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborne. Doc Ock was more of a tragic villain, as well as Sandman; and we all saw Venom, right? Old Gobby may have a Power Ranger's uniform, but he is evil. He died trying to kill his enemy, unlike the "transformed villains". However his shining moment was defiantly on the bridge, where he gave Spider-man a sadistic choice.
*Batman Begin's "Ra's al Ghul"- What can I say? Liam Neeson is a good actor. He gave Batman the skills on how to truly beat him, and even Batman had a tough time doing it. He knew what was necessary in his own diluted fantasy. In a weird way, he was only trying to do good, by killing millions. He even had a group of ninja henchmen and a hot daughter! How much more badass can you get??
Honorable Mention: The Avenger's "Loki"- While he had a good plan, I just didn't enjoy how Josh Whedon made him "Supergod". Seriously, I know overpowered villains aren't uncommon, but seriously, making it a "god" against another "god", a "super soldier", a "billionaire, playboy, genius, philanthropist", a guy with major anger management issues, and some master assassins is more than enough.
The Dark Knight Rise's "Bane"- I loved him. He is one of the only villains to truly beat down the hero. But I was hesitant about including Tom Hardy's excellent portrayal due to the plot twist that Nolan Haters hate on. Seriously, just because he was working with Talia, doesn't mean that he was working for her. THANKS FOR THE STEREOTYPE JEEP SWENSON!!!
