According to Deadline, Lennie James (The Walking Dead, Snatch, Colombiana) has been added to the already very impressive vast of Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2. We haven't received character details on any of the cast members up to this point, and that continues here, with no mention of the role - be it hero, villain, human or replicant - that James will play in the film.

All we do know that he'll be joining Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Dave Bautista, Barkhad Abdi and the returning Harrison Ford.

Blade Runner 2 is set to hit theaters on October 6, 2017.

I think he's one of the best actors in the Walking Dead. Too bad the character himself kinda became a preachy buzzkill.

@FishyZombie - I like Morgan. I think he is a preachy [frick]er but that kind of character is needed to balance things out. And at the end of the day, he IS right... at least in philosophy. Obviously in that environment you need to kill or be killed.

@RorMachine - I completely agree with you, Morgan is totally right. Although, TWD much like GoT isn't a world built for the kind or the morally righteous. Well, at least they don't last very long. I hope Morgan's character makes it all the way. He is the most compelling to me.

So does this mean Deckard is human? I loved the theory about him being a replicant.

Looking forward to this movie and seems to be in good hands, shame they didn't go for a Director and cast of this quality for a post T2 Terminator sequel.

Also this will star the stunning Ana De Armas.

Just finished Blade Runner a few minutes ago. They need to bring Edward James Olmos back. Something was really fishy about him.

I'm happy to hear he'll be in Blade Runner, because he is a great actor. I personally believe his acting talent is very rarely shown on how great he is, so hopefully he'll be able to truly shine in the movie.

It amazes me...all the actually good films that aren't getting a sequel. But the tragically over-hyped, tremendously boring Blade Runner is getting one!
