Without question, the Warcraft film definitely has talent behind it. Duncan Jones, has garnered a strong following among fans and critics alike thanks to his excellent sci-fi feature, Moon. Travis Fimmel will definitely bring a sizable contingent of medieval fans from his Viking TV show. In fact, the film is littered with young actors that are just waiting for a breakout, blockbuster film to introduce their talent to the masses. Ruth Negga, Rob Kazinsky, Ben Schnetzer, and Toby Kebbell are all poised to become the next big thing in Hollywood. The question really, is will Warcraft be that vehicle to take their careers to the next level?
Universal and Legendary certainly gave the film a large enough budget. However, the prevailing chatter among the online community is that World of Warcraft's time in the spotlight has come and gone, leading many to theorize that the game built-in audience of MMORPG gamers might not be as large as in years past. As comic book fans, do you plan on seeing the film when it releases in June? Or will you wait for reviews before deciding?
