The first full clip from Justin Lin's Star Trek Beyond has been released, and it seems Uhura and Spock are still having a bit of relationship trouble. Think it's time to call it a day folks. We also have four brief character profile videos, featuring snippets of new footage from the upcoming threequel.
After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.
Star Trek Beyond reunites Jon Cho, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoë Saldana, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin, with Idris Elba, Sofia Boutella, Lydia Wilson, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Joe Taslim joining the cast.
The movie hits theaters on 22nd July, 2016.
