Co-director Christopher Miller has embraced the force on this very special day and took to Twitter to release a behind-the-scenes image of the upcoming Star Wars anthology film focusing on the early adventures of Han Solo. The image showcases Han's signature blaster, the DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. It seems like early production for the film is underway, and it's possible that principal photography for the film will start soon, since the film is scheduled for a 2018 release.
Recent reports indicate that Beautiful Creatures and Hail, Caesar! star Alden Ehrenreich is in the front-running to play the fastest smuggler in the galaxy, but it looks like we won't know for sure until later this year at Star Wars Celebration.
