Following new looks at the Rebel team assembled and the villainous Director Krennic, Empire's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story subscribers only cover spotlights K-2SO, who will be voiced and mo-cap performed by Firefly alum Alan Tudyk.
Unlike previous droids in the saga, this towering robot won't be shy about getting in on the action and is quite prepared to kill in order to protect his master, Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), who is also featured alongside Kaytoo and Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) in the new still above.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
The movie opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.
