First Details On Forest Whitaker's ROGUE ONE Character?

Up until now we hadn't heard a single thing about the character Forest Whitaker is playing in Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but we might just have some very interesting details. Still a rumor for now, but click on to find out what we've got...

Though we've gotten a glimpse of our team of Rebel heroes, specific details on all of the characters in Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story still remain shrouded in mystery - and we arguably know least about whoever Forest Whitaker (The Crying Game, Smoke, The Last King Of Scotland) is playing, as the actor has yet to speak to the media about his role.

But now, thanks to Making Star Wars, we might just have our first few details on his character.

"It appears he has one leg and uses a cane as a crutch to walk. Earlier reports made it seem like he might have one leg but the clarification on the topic is a “robot leg.”

He appears to be a veteran of some battles, but it isn’t clear if he lost his leg fighting in The Clone Wars or against the Empire.

Based on a differentiated code name from the rest of the rebels in the movie, it appears he is likely good but maybe a bounty hunter affiliated type.

He has a cape and his costume is a hodgepodge of different things (think of someone you might see at Maz’s Castle)".

So, a robotic-legged badass with a cape, who might even be a bounty hunter of some description. Sounds pretty cool indeed.

Obviously none of this has been confirmed so take it with the usual pinch of salt, but it shouldn't be too much longer before we begin to get some official info on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

That sounds pretty cool. I'm starting to really look forward to Rogue One.

The Han Solo movie? Not so much.

Forest needs to be in John Wick 2. But I guess this movie is good too.

I'm really looking forward to this movie. If the story is on point and not diluted, I think we might have ourselves a classic.

Ghostdog is severely underrated. Whitaker was badass in that film. One of my favorite movies

Ghost Dog is amazing, but I hate the ending.

Why has no one on this site mentioned the news of a possible Lighters crew union strike in the UK? This strike would put further delays to Star Wars 8 as well as interrupt and delay films such as Wonder Woman, The new Mummy movie and the next Jackie Chan flic. Possibly some other films as well.

I'm at peace with the new design for this site... but the font is really bad. It looks like an html version of a nineties website

im sure he will do a good job in the movie. hes a great actor. about the vader involvement though. it could be good or bad news. i was excited about the prospect of a star wars movie without lightsabers in it. but if hes just giving orders and running the empire and making tactical decisions and shit. im all for it.

Probably Finn's dad, or Lando's brother, or Mace Windu's third cousin twice removed.

Most likely a combination of all 3.
