For many years fans of Star Wars have moaned and wailed against George Lucus for his new trilogy and its overuse of CGI. Many more have been angered at his tampering of the old trilogy by adding in new scenes and even more CGI. However according to the sources at comicbook.com Disney has plans to release the orginal trilogy on Bluray as seen as it was in theaters.

here is an Excerpt from the article by Comicbook.com

According to our sources, Disney has plans to release the orginal cut of the Star Wars trilogy on Blu-ray. Our sources indicate that the project has been underway for quite some time, but it's been challenging because of some damage to the orginal negatives they are utilizing. The goal is to release A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in their complete, unaltered, orginal form without the redone special edition SFX

In all honesty this is the only part of ComicBook's article that you should keep in yours:

Having all that stuff makes it seem like you just copied the article and pasted it.

And make a fan site. Having an article filtered through a fan site removes the black outline.

I've heard this rumor hundreds of times already, and I've seen it debunked each and every time. I'll believe it when I see it.

Until then, you can torrent the "de-specialized" editions of each movie in the original trilogy.

I don't really care about most of the changes, they don't detract anything for me and some shit like the Emperors face in Ep 5 and the shit music at the end of six needed to be changed.

Another piece of advice, put the excerpt of the article in blockquote. Thats real easy to do. Just use the HTML code: < block quote > and < / block quote > (Side note: Remove the spaces for it to work).

Once you do that, it will look like this:

@MexicanSuperman:

That claim makes no sense. Every ship, walker, speeder, etc in the original trilogy is a model or life-size prop. Everything but the lightsaber blades and blaster shots were practical in-camera effects. And, no surprise, they still look real. The prequels look fake and get faker looking as time goes by, and the modern CGI alterations to the originals look even worse next to the practical effects.
