RUMOR: New Leaked Plot Details For STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII

A rumoured plot leak for Star Wars: Episode VIII has made its way online, giving a bit more background into Rey's past...POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD!

According to a report by Stormtrooper Larry, (a source that had previously leaked pictures from the production set of the film) a part of the script for Star Wars: Episode VIII has leaked online. The report (picture seen below) contains a page of dialogue between Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Yoda (who has long been rumoured to make an appearance in the film). The leak describes a vision regarding the history of the Jedi Order, which goes in tandem with previous rumours that Luke exiled himself to the planet Ach-To to find an ancient Jedi temple. Be wary, possible SPOILERS ahead!

In the scene Luke tells Rey that the Jedi Council became “arrogant” and that they were hiding a “secret,” which led to their demise. The old Jedi master takes Rey’s hand and shows her a glimpse into the past. They see two children playing near a tree on an alien planet. The boy noticed that he had greater strength and intuition when he was closer to this tree. The girl noticed that the tree also made her brother increasingly angry. One day an argument breaks out between the children, and the boy kills the girl. The boy touches the tree and is “transformed,”. He kills his parents and leaves the planet. Meanwhile the girl is revealed to be alive, transformed by the tree as well, using her power to start the first Jedi Order.

The girl explains how The Force can be used for both good and evil. She tells her followers that one day she would return as either a boy or a girl, and that they should train this child. Luke tells Rey that the Jedi Order had been searching for The One (reincarnation of the original founder of the Jedi) for a millennia. When they found Anakin Skywalker and thought that he would bring balance to The Force, the Jedi were “deceived” and the Clone Wars were the result. The scene also shows Rey’s parents, and Luke is not the father. Luke tells her how she was identified as strong with The Force, and how she was supposed to begin her training, but never reached her destination for an unknown reason. In the scene Luke gives Rey a choice, and she has till sunset to make it.

Now, before you dismiss this report as false, bear in mind that it lines up with certain information. For one, a massive tree was spotted on the "Ach-To" set (picture seen below), which lines up with the description of the vision experienced by Luke and Rey. Luke also mentions that Rey has "until sunset" to make her decision. This alludes to the rumoured attack from the Knights Of Ren after dark, as described in a previous report. If this information is true, it's pretty definitive that Luke is NOT Rey's father, and that Rey is actually an incarnation of the founder of the Jedi Order. As usual, take this information with a grain of salt, but it seems to fit with what we've heard with previous leaks and set reports! Sound off below with your thoughts!

Disclaimer here guys: I'm not one to usually post rumours, but this stuff seems to be backed up by previous reports, along with some photo evidence. Figured it would be worthwhile to throw up here.

So, IF TRUE, Anakin isn't The One...

He's just some random IMMENSELY POWERFUL JEDI then. What's it gonna be?

@TheNerdGuy - I get that he's obviously a reincarnation of that boy, but this all muddles who brings the balance to the force.

It's like, anyone who's really ONE WITH THE FORCE is seen as The One.

But then again, ANAKIN WAS FATHERED BY THE FORCE so......is that just moot now? I thought that was the prime part of being the one.

Rey has parents too, according to all of this.

@ComicsBornAndBred - I think the mystery/significance of Rey's parents is completely overblown...I'd be fine if they were nobodies, tbh.

@MattBellissimo - me too. That's not my problem at all. I think making them folks of little significance is good. The Skywalker argument is getting a bit tired.

I just find the fact that's she's the true ONE to be both confusing and intriguing since she has parents and the Jedi Order believed the One would be born through the force. But I guess now they're all idiots who got played by Annie from Tatooine lol.

@TheNerdGuy - not sure if I like this or not though. The whole Matrix similarity.

But, it's all one big metaphor for Christianity anyway. So many theological parallels.

@TheNerdGuy - I feel like they wanna erase everything and anything the prequels gave us. Rewrite key history established with those films. But some stiff from the prequels maybe should be left alone.

But in the process, they may create more confusion. The rectification of what they view as "something that needs to be fixed", could be a mistake.

Maybe we're not getting all the details here. As you said, someone's gotta be layed in the grave for reincarnation to work.

As pseudo-magical and spiritual as Star Wars has been, the OT really made The Force seem SIMPLE. There were no extra complexities. Nothing too difficult to understand. This seems like the opposite of it. But idk, I trust what they're doing. TFA could've been trash but it was enjoyable. Captured the magic.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Yeah, Episode VIII is the testing ground for truly new material. TFA gave us new characters, this is giving us a new story. I loved TFA but it wasn't an entirely new story.

@MattBellissimo - yea. I like that, new testing ground.

They had to get folks on board so playing it safe was, I guess, understandable. New characters with some classic archetypal characteristics.

Now that they have folks invested and caring, we should get some refreshing material in episode VIII. Things we haven't seen before. Drastic directions to send characters and so on.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Actually, I think Snoke might be the boy - would be a good way to tie everything together.

It's a weird retcon however to pin the entire original series on a misinterpreted prophesy.

This reminds me of the pensieve from Harry Potter.
Which is a good thing, because HP is my favourite franchise of all time.

I like it. It's never been explored before, so naturally if you want new movies to tell a new story this is the way to go. Anakins birth will make a lot more sense I'm sure. And just because she has a Mom and Dad, doesn't mean he impregnated her. Go watch Maury Povitch. People complain without looking for the most obvious answer first I swear.

The guy behind this so called "spoiler" is KY10REY and he is a well known fraud who pretends to be an insider. Basically, he's Supershadow 2.0. Pablo Hildalgo has already called him out for being both a liar and an idiot.

The only reason Supershadow 2.0's report appears to line up with what was filmed in Ireland is because he waited until all the filming in Ireland was complete to make it up. Every single website with legit sources have already discredited the guy.

This sounds awesome! I hope it is true...
