UPDATE: FARGO Season 2 Star Bokeem Woodbine Has Joined The Cast Of SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING As A Villain

Spider-Man: Homecoming is now shooting, but with every day that passes, the cast continues to grow. The latest addition hasn't been revealed by one of the Hollywood trades, but by a fan who bumped into Fargo star Bokeem Woodbine. He played gangster Mike Milligan there, but is also known for appearing in Riddick, Southland, and Total Recall along with almost countless other TV shows.

Who is he playing? Like pretty much every other actor who has been added to the cast lately, we have no idea, though Daily Bugle editor Robbie Robertson feels like a good fit! Of course, there's every chance he could have a very minor role here, possibly playing just a teacher in Peter's high school or something along those lines. Fingers crossed we get an official cast/character list in the near future!

Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, and Robert Downey Jr. lead Spider-Man: Homecoming's massive ensemble, and the Jon Watts helmed reboot is currently set to be released on July 7th, 2017.

UPDATE: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Woodbine has indeed joined the cast of the movie, but he'll join Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green as a bad guy. Who will he be playing? We don't know, but that now gives Spider-Man: Homecoming a total of three villains, a number which didn't work out too well for Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Stay tuned for updates.

@UltronPrime - Why? I missed when movies came out and you knew nothing about them. Things arent surprises anymore and everything is spoiled so early in production.

@Himura - Then stop coming to this site. There wasn't a time when "movies came out and you knew nothing about them". Before the internet, it was harder to find out, but you could read a magazine or trade news.

Soccer Mom down the block still knows nothing about this movie. And she won't know who the hell is in it until she takes her 10 year old son to see it.

If you like being ignorant, turn off your internet and be ignorant.

Okay Marvel. We get it. It's a mixed race cast. Just P-L-E-A-S-E tell us who playing Mary Jane!

@MrCheerio - He shouldn't meet MJ in high school. Save her for after the first trilogy but have May keep trying to set him up on a blind date.

@Magus - Eh, if they have no plans to re-do the Gwen Stacy thing, then I'd recommend introducing Mary Jane at the end of this film.

@Magus - He does meet Mary Jane in high school though, she's an older character than Gwen Stacy.

@MrCheerio - I'm hoping for a complete smoke show actress... PLEASE no Emma Watson!

@Kman - Emma Watson? Not gonna happen, she's 26 and doubt she'd be willing to go back to playing a teenager.

I'd like to see Bella Thorne as MJ.
