Spider-Man marked his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in
Captain America: Civil War, and filming is currently underway in Atlanta for the wallcrawler's first solo adventure,
Spider-Man: Homecoming. While Tom Holland's Spider-Man was a mostly CGI creation in
Civil War, it seems there will be a dedicated practical suit this time around, as some sneaky set pictures on Instagram (via the account @spidermanhomecoming.ig) have given us a blurry first look at the Spider-Man suit. While we can't see much detail overall, the third picture gives us a close up at the new chest symbol. Sound off below with your thoughts!
Directed by Jon Watts, Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland in the title role, with Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Bokeem Woodbine, Hannibal Buress, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., and Michael Keaton filling out the supporting cast. Spider-Man: Homecoming releases July 7, 2017.
