Tom Holland just received a huge endorsement from Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
Nearly every Marvel Studios director currently working on an active project has already seen Civil War (Peyton Reed has seen it twice) and apparently Holland's Spider-Man was one of Gunn's favorite aspects of the film. Given the fact that Civil War isn't really Spider-Man's film and doesn't really tackle his origin, what do you think about Gunn's high-praise? Is he merely revving the engines of the MCU hype-train? Do you think there's a chance Holland leapfrogs Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire on the list of greatest Spider-Man portrayals? Post your own thoughts and theories in the comment section below and keep the discussion going.
Captain America: Civil War arrives in US theaters on May 6.
