Does Spider-Man: Homecoming have the biggest cast ever seen in a comic book movie? Probably not, but the trades know that Marvel + Spider-Man = clicks, so they're reporting on every single addition no matter how big or small. While their roles are predictably being kept a secret, Tiffany Espensen and Garcelle Beauvais are the latest actresses to board the highly anticipated (and extremely busy) reboot.
Espensen is a relative unknown who currently stars in Disney XD's Kirby Buckets. She also appeared in Monsterville: The Cabinet of Souls. Beauvais meanwhile is best known for roles in The Jamie Foxx Show and NYPD Blue. Other big and small screen credits include Franklin & Bash and White House Down.
As great as all these casting additions may be, the one that the vast majority of fans want to see still hasn't happened, and that's someone to play J. Jonah Jameson. At this stage, it's unclear whether or not the character is even in Spider-Man: Homecoming, though it's possible that Marvel's eventual casting announcement will surprise us as they did when Jeff Goldblum was added to Thor: Ragnarok.
