"Twenty years in Gotham, how many good guy are left, how many stayed that way."
That line from Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne in
Batman v Superman drove fans crazy with trying to figure out who died and who turned to the dark side. One theory that absolutely would not die no matter how preposterous it seemed was the notion that Jason Todd went insane following an attack from the Joker, killed him and then decided to carry on his legacy.
Sure, the DCEU is it's own thing but its doubtful that Ayer and DC Films co-chair Geoff Johns would subvert the legacy of
A Death in the Family to such a degree. It's very likely that it is Todd's costume, riddled with bullet holes in the Batcave but that likely means he represent the "
how many are left" portion of Affleck's line, not the segment implying that one of the good guys was corrupted.
Ayer emphatically shoots down the rumor at the 03:25 mark.
