Margot Robbie On Whether There's A Solo HARLEY QUINN Movie In Development

Back in May THR, reported that WB was developing a Harley Quinn-led Birds of Prey film for Margot Robbie, but what of an actual solo film for Mr. J's right-hand woman?  When asked at an advanced screening on July 26th in Canada, Robbie admitted that WB hasn't decided to give Harley a solo film just yet.  "We're not sure, " was Robbie's reply during a post-screening press line.  Her follow-up question was what she'd like to explore should WB greenlight the project.  "Just more of Harley.  I'm just so not done playing that character and there's so much more to do with her - and as anyone who's read the comics knows, there's a million different storylines to explore.  There's just so much you can do in the DC Universe so I think it would be cool.

In THR's report in May, it's stated that Robbie is actually driving development on the Birds of Prey spin-off. On paper, giving one of the team member slots to Harley's Suicide Squad team member Katana (Karen Fukuhara), seems like a no-brainer.  Traditionally a three-member operation, who should assume the final slot?  You'd most likely need an avian-themed or a Bat-family heroine to actually make the use of the Birds of Prey moniker function as more than fan service so that theoretically leaves Batgirl, Black Canary, Huntress, Starling, Catwoman and Lady Blackhawk.  Should this report come to fruition, who would you like to see on Harley's team?

Suicide squad will decide whether she's good enough for a solo movie. Also, we'd probably be getting more batman if she gets a solo movie. So yeah. #TeamMartha

Meh, there are plenty of female DC characters I'd want to see as the star of a film before Harley.

Get her to team up with Poison Ivy and that would be an awesome movie.

Who could play her?

Eva Green?

Rosamund Pike?
