We've known for a while now that Batman will show up in Suicide Squad as the trailers have shown him chasing down Harley Quinn and The Joker, but that's not all the Dark Knight will be getting up to. Batman-News has the scoop on the character's role in the David Ayer helmed release, confirming that the hero isn't going to cross paths with the entire team of villains. Instead, he has a scene with Deadshot which is described as being "emotional" as well as a later one with the bad guy played by Will Smith, but that will be a flashback (likely detailing his origin based on the set photos we've seen).

The site goes on to add that, "Next is the car scene that we saw in the trailers with Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn. Unfortunately there isn’t much interaction between Batman and the Joker here. It’s mostly between Batman and Harley. A report came out last summer that said the Joker’s car plunges into the water, and as we saw in the latest trailer, it does and Batman gets Harley out safely." So, it all sounds pretty great, but definitely just a cameo instead of a full on appearance and leading role. What do you think about these latest details? Let us know your thoughts below.

@IctyoSapien - I think the "Damaged" tattoo on his damn forehead is the worst. Apparently the Joker is a white trash whore with daddy issues who decided to get a tramp stamp on his face instead of his lower back.

I'm guessing the car goes into the water and the joker sacrifices Harley in order to escape forcing batman to choose between catching the joker or saving Harley

Aw, no interaction between Bats and Joker? Guess they're saving that for Batman's solo movie.

@DeusExSponge - As they should. Glad Batman's role is minimal, especially if we are to believe that Will Smith's Deadshot is showing up in the solo Batman movie.

@DeusExSponge - I was really hoping to see Batman at least punch the Joker in this.
