As some of you comic book fans may know, Kevin Smith has had one of the most successful podcast shows for years, known as Fatman on Batman. Recently, Kevin Smith took the next step in podcasting and created a YouTube channel for Fatman on Batman. In a recent episode, Kevin Smith revealed that he has seen the latest trailer to David Ayer's Suicide Squad and said a lot, but also without revealing anything that would be categorized as a spoiler.
"I saw the Suicide Squad trailer and it was f---ing impressive. Like, hats off to the f---ing marketing people and the trailer I saw, the second trailer. I'm not gonna spoil anything about it. Tell you this much, it's got a lot of footage, song choice is perfect. That's what they're building. A moody campaign and like it's not 'This is [frick]ing villains fighting villains and shit.' they're building something that people don't really read comics are interested in. I find it very fascinating what they're doing. So I saw this second trailer, it is f---ing wonderful. It's got a tone but I would say the second trailer has got a lot of humor and it's not humor of the simple variety. They'll play out a joke with dialogue, not just a quip. Some of the shots are goddamn gorgeous. I like this guy, (David Ayer) he's a great director. Based on those two trailers, give him whatever he wants, let him make more DC movies. He's got an eye man. Can't spoil it, but it's coming soon and that's the good news."

Not only do we know that a new Suicide Squad trailer is coming soon, thanks to the CW. Now we know that the trailer is going to blow everyone's minds. So gear up people, because come Tuesday, January 19, 2016... DC is coming in full force. What do you think about his comments? Are you ready for Warner Bros. and DC to reveal their new world?

Does Kevin Smith actually...do anything? All I see from him is he helped work on the failed Superman reboot with Nic Cage and now he gets early access to trailers and movie screenings and then talks about it online.

I thought the first trailer was brilliant - best looking comic book movie we've seen in a while. Ayer is a very talented filmmaker, I'm looking forward to what he puts together.
