SUICIDE SQUAD Is Officially The Most Talked About Upcoming Movie

The buzz around David Ayer's Suicide Squad has only increased since the latest trailer, and it seems like the upcoming DC film has managed to stay clear of the negativity that came from Zack Snyder’s  Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. According to Twitter, it is the most talked about upcoming movie on the social-media site.

Twitter reports that Suicide Squad was mentioned over 1 million times within the span of March 1st and May 26th, and it is officially the most talked about upcoming comic book movie. Many of the tweets came in when Jared Leto helped promote the hashtag #JokerWasHere that featured a Joker emoji, which was then followed by the release of the latest trailer that garnered more than 130,000 retweets.

As Suicide Squad takes the number one spot, the next in line would be the upcoming Disney/Pixar sequel Finding Dory with 869,000 tweets, then it's Paul Feig's Ghostbusters coming in third with 565,000 tweets, but those are all most likely negative. With Captain America: Civil War already out in theaters, fans that chose to side with #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan brought in 10.4 million tweets within the same timespan, followed by the recently released X-Men: Apocalypse that amassed about 1.8 million tweets.

This one I'm still hopeful for. Just hope it's not a disappointment like BvS.

@Mercwitham0uth - and this is why the movie is the most talked about

It's not a good thing, people don't want to get there hopes up (like I did for bvs) and the talk isn't positive chatter it's "wonder if this is any good"

Ayer you [frick] make a good movie dammit! Make me like DC again!

@Mercwitham0uth - That movie was only a disappointment because you expected too much. You ruined the movie for yourself. I had NO hopes or expectations, and was able to enjoy it a LOT more. This applies to many things in life. When I get my hopes up, it can lead to disappointments, and that is MY fault.

@MustangRon - Lol it's my fault the film was shit? Ok buddy. So me expecting to be entertained was my fault for the film being a horribly paced and boring mess? The fűck outta here.

@Mercwitham0uth
Yes, you are to blame for the thoughts and expectations that go through your head. No one else controls your thoughts, and, if you can't control your own thoughts, than there are professionals that can assist with that. And maybe some self-help books. I know in society we are indirectly taught to blame others for what we think and do, but ultimately we have the most control over it if we exercise it enough. And you actually know this, as this is common knowledge. Just admit it. "THEN" I will get out of here.

@MustangRon - Jesus christ shut the [frick] up. The film was a piece of shit but you're too PROUD to admit it. Sorry but the only people to blame are Zack Snyder and the [frick]tards who meddled with the films development. You know it's true and you know I'm right. Deal with it. The movie was a boring mess.

Here I found an accurate portrayal of you:

@Mercwitham0uth - And if I offended you, I apologize. My comments were not against you, but your attitude on this subject. My apologies. Again, funny cartoon. Thank you.

Honestly, I can't wait to see the Joker, Harley, and the whole movie. But nothing has me more curious or excited as Jai Courtney as Boomerang. He's the one that is outshining everyone in the trailers.

@Kr08 - I agree, he seems really into the character. Which is great.

@Kr08 - I agree about the whole movie part. Though, I'm kind of interested in the enigmatic Enchantress slightly more than Boomerang.

Batman v Succ 6 really discouraged me, but I'm really hoping this one's great.

I really want this movie to be a hit, because then it shows not everything in the DCU live action movies needs to be about the Justice League members. I also believe if this does well it helps the chances of Guillermo Del Toro getting to make Justice League Dark or was it going by Dark Universe and the reason why is because not every person that fights is a straight superhero. Some like to fight in the grey, not being good or bad.

Plus if this movie does well it opens the doors for more outside of the box choices. Plus with the rumors of spinoffs after this movie l hope Katana gets to start up the Outsiders. Because seeing her with Black Lightning and Metamorpho would rock.
