We weren't sure it was going to happen, but Warner Bros. released one final trailer for Suicide Squad at Comic-Con today, and it's all sorts of awesome. There's not a huge amount of new footage in there (which is probably for the best considering how close we are to the movie being released now), but there is still a lot of great stuff we haven't seen before, particularly pertaining to The Enhantress...

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to the movie? As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

As long as this is good, I have high hopes for next year's DCEU movies.

@HerculesJones - It wouldn't be a dc thread if someone wasn't comparing it to the avengers and how it copies marvel....BITCH!

@AComicFan - I never said it was a bad thing. That was the first thing I thought about when I saw it.

@HerculesJones - the giant portal in the sky has been a running staple of blockbuster movies for a while.

it's a tired cliche.

@HerculesJones - Ok my bad i apologize i just get a little emotional with how easy marvelites are quick to dissmiss dc films as if its crap before seeing it. its a bandwagon thing everything is, people wont form they're own opinions they follow those who complain about the stupidiest things. i love all comic book related stuff i dont discriminate i loved the avengers and ill love justice league but if we are gonna just nitpick everything like the whole MARTHA THING i can go and say well what about civil war where the plot falls apart do the the fact that the heros saved lives not took them it was the government that tried to nuke new york so shouldn't the hero's be making the government sign a the accords not the other way around it makes no sense for none the hero's to not speak up especially tony the guy who got rid of the nuke and has had nightmares ever since he took it into the worm hole. my point is if you look hard enough you'll find a problem in anything or create them when they aren't even there i just want people to enjoy the film and not purposely go into it for the sake of looking for as many problems as possible.

@michaeljames - Never because until this, never had high expectations for him. This may be his breakout role.
