Fans of the acclaimed Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode "Once More With Feeling" should be happy to hear that The CW will follow suit with a musical Supergirl/The Flash team up, which will allow Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin to flex their Glee vocal muscles again.

Greg Berlatni confirmed as much to the Television Critics Association earlier today, stating that the double-episode would air during the second half of the 2016-17 TV season. Apparently the cast will sing mostly preexisting tunes, but they are toying with the idea of one original song per episode.

This might be very entertaining, and then again it might... not. What do you guys make of the idea?

In related news, after doing a great job on his season 2 episode of The Flash, Kevin Smith will be back to direct another, and an installment of Supergirl while he's at it.
