Bigger sigh. They dare bring Batman into this convoluted pile of garbage? They dare use the DCAU Joker design in this pile of garbage? They dare use Nite-Owl, a character that is technically not canon in the DC Universe, in this show?

And they cancelled Young Justice for this.

This show is great. People take these comic books too seriously sometimes. It's great to see shows like this lighten things up.

Nite Owl. Nifty. I can't stand infantile shows, though.

@GuardianAngel
Not trying to start a fight or be a troll or anything, but don't you feel like the humor is a little too immature at times?
I think what bothers me most about this show is the fact that shows like Young Justice and the original Teen Titans were doing great while they were on the air, and only got cancelled because they weren't selling toys. And then this show comes along with its goofy animation and bad jokes and is kept on the air without the endorsement of merchandise. Just...WHY?

Even though this show is garbage, I liked that I saw Nite-Owl, BAS' Joker, and Ultron in this clip. Heck, even a pedophile was in this clip.

Here's the thing. The show is pretty funny but all you guys are hating it cause all the more serious DC shows got cancelled. I totally get it and I agree, it's absolutely unfair and disappointing that Green Lantern and Young Justice got cancelled. I think Teen Titans Go would have been more well received if all the other serious DC animated shows existed. It would have acted as more of a comedic side dish, something to laugh at but considering how it's the ONLY DC animated show on air, it just seems so out of place.

@digymaster Would you like a list of legitimate knocks against this show on its own merits?

I came here specifically to hate on this children's show that I don't like, as opposed to simply ignoring the article like a well adjusted mature adult.

Leave the basement people, it is a show for kids, and it is a bigger hit than Young Justice was. Get over it!

IMO it's a great show and doesn't deserve the hate it gets. If anything it's better than the crap that we're getting from Marvel Animations, damn those are down right terrible! I know it hurts that Young Justice got canned, but it time to move on from the tragedy!
Osborn

The show has its moments. Some time it's really fun but most of the time... they try too hard like Spidey in the Ultimate Spider-Man serie they force the humor down your throat. I guess it kind of work for both shows with kids.
I still watch Teen Titan Go! sometime. I like the artstyle.

My heart breaks for the generations that are being brainwashed by this drivel. DC Animation had so many things going for it, BTAS, Superman, Justice League, Teen Titans (the one that ISN'T this one), Batman Beyond, Young Justice. All gone, replaced by something that has few redeeming qualities, all because the others were either too violent or couldn't sell toys.

It's a good show for kids! Us 30 something years old nerds have to cool down because at the end of the day superheroes are ment to be for kids. And to be 100% honest it made me laugh.

im 42 and i love this show. i never seen the previous TT and i saw some episodes of young justice and thought it was way too emo and broody. the marketing for this show is strange though. it's definitely for newer fans, the animation looks like it's for my 6 yr old daughter yet me and my sister who's 45 like it more than her 20 yr old daughter who was a big fan of the previous TT.
GuardianAngel
GuardianAngel - 2/6/2015, 12:19 AM
@BrettMan

Immature? You do realize the show is on Cartoon Network, right? With that said, people vote on what stays on and what doesn't. DC had some fantastic shows such as Green Lantern and Beware the Batman, but the fans decided not to watch them and then go and complain about no good dark shows are being made. They're just giving the people what they want. Teen Titans Go gets good ratings so it stays. It's how the system works and I choose to enjoy it for what it is. Once you accept that it's not made by Bruce Timm, (which many people can't seem to get passed) it becomes really entertaining.
