Director Rick Famuyiwa Reveals His Intense Research For THE FLASH

It was only a few days ago that Warner Bros. and DC announced that Dope director Rick Famuyiwa would replace Seth Grahame-Smith as the director for The Flash. Since then, Famuyiwa has taken to his social media accounts and displayed his enthusiasm for the film by tweeting out gifs and Flash emojis. Now, the director has taken to his Instagram account and decided to give fans a glimpse into his research process for the film.

You might be able to recognize some of the titles from the large stack of The Flash omnibi. Among them are storylines from the New 52, The Flash: Rebirth, and The Flash: The Road to Flashpoint. It looks like Famuyiwa is diving deep into the Flash's mythology, and from the few selections he's displayed, it's possible we might be seeing a Flash film that builds up to the Flashpoint Paradox.

Seeing how The Flash (Ezra Miller) has already been shown to time travel in Batman v Superman, it's entirely possible that we might be seeing the Scarlet Speedster changing the entire DC Film Universe timeline. Until then, see if you can spot what other stories are in Rick Famuyiwa's collection and sound off below!

Good on Fumuyiwa for doing his research. This is his first blockbuster gig and already he seems to know what he's doing. Maybe he knows if he doesn't, the fanboys will come after him.

I wasn't a huge fan of "Dope", but I can't deny that the guy is putting in some incredible work! I'm excited to see some casting news soon.

@SmellofDuty - I haven't seen Dope yet but my son said he really liked it. He's really into The Flash right now so this is coming together nicely.
