It's fair to say that last night's episode of
The Flash left all our jaws on the floor, but if Zoom's plan to make Barry Allen realise that he's just like him fails, what's next? Based on the promo, a race, and these images from next week's finale shed some light on how that's going to play out. It seems like the Fastest Man Alive will be cajoled into taking part after the villain takes his other father figure hostage.
Hunter Zolomon's true motivations for wanting to race The Flash no doubt have something to do with Cisco's vision of a destroyed Earth-2, and this episode is going to have to address not only that, but also the identity of the Man in the Iron Mask, Barry and Iris' future, whether or not Wally and Jesse have powers, and possibly even what's next for these characters as we hurtle towards season three.
