I'm not familiar with Marvel character 'Grendell'....but am I right in thinking it's not 'Grendell' from the Beowulf myth....who also has his arm torn off by 'Beowulf' himself....or is it?

Just had a quick search....apparently 'Grendell' from the "Beowulf Myth" is in fact in the Thor comics...I never knew that, i always thought it was basic Norse Mythology only (Thor/Loki/Odin etc).

I think it's pretty interesting how Marvel intertwined common myths/legends with the comics.

Sad...smh but instead we got Jane and that cheesy mystery gang...lol Thor 3 better be solidly focused in Asgard. Forget Earth! There's like six other heroes there now plus shield. They can handle their own.

Those Oldstrong and Kaifi concepts suggest that a World War Hulk movie might not actually be far off since they are the main races on the planet Hulk gets sent to.

Yes Valkyrie! We need Valkyrie! And Enchantress! And Executioner! I wish they make Thor 3, there are so many interesting characters from his stories I want to see on the big screen!

Valkyrie! Now THAT is cool. The ice giant isn't too bad either BUT Valkyrie. Too bad we had to deal with Kat Dennings and miss out on Valkyrie. That's a shame.

Enchantress could be probably the first major female villain in a CBM - she's just as powerful and just and manipulative enough to be a tough contender for Thor.

Oh the possibilities... We could've had Valkyrie? And Mangog? He doesn't look bad though.

I wish that any of these had been used. Instead, all we got was a Kronan, which was cool, but not enough to make up for all of the things that bugged me in Dark World.

@ThePowerCosmic - Completely agree. I love Beta Ray Bill, and with the opening-up of Thor's world into the Milky Way Galaxy, that'd be a great direction to go in.

They should have used all of these. Take out the silly love story and there'd be plenty of room for them all.

The Oldstrong and Korbonite designs could have opened doors to future stories.

Hey,so far the Thor films have been very,very successful.
Many of these characters can be used in upcoming Thor movies.

I want at least 6 films based around Thor & his adventures.
Beta Ray Bill,Valkyrie,Enchantress,Hela,Balder,Ulik,Tyr & Surtur is a must!
