New THOR: RAGNAROK Aerial Set Photos Reveal A Quinjet And A HULK-Out Scene In The Making

It appears we have a bird's-eye view of what Mark Ruffalo had actually filmed on his last day of Thor: Ragnarok, and it involves a Hulk bust and that huge practical Asgardian set. Check it out!

Mark Ruffalo took to Instagram last week to share celebratory behind-the-scenes photos from his last day filming for Thor: Ragnarok, but the Daily Mail has now provided an aerial glimpse of what the actor had actually filmed that day. In addition to a practical Hulk bust that’s clearly visible on the massive Asgardian set, which was built on Australia’s Gold Coast, the set photos also show someone (Ruffalo) lying on the ground surrounded by the crew.

According to the source, the Thor: Ragnarok scene that is pictured below being filmed definitely involved Mark Ruffalo acting out Bruce Banner turning into his Jade Giant alter-ego while in Asgard. Evidently, this was without the much-needed use of visual effects.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a clear look at how the scene was being filmed, but we do have another aerial set photo revealing an unfinished Avengers quinjet. This is likely the same quinjet that brought the Hulk into the cosmos after being trapped on the autopiloted aircraft at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron last year. Anyhow, check out the pics below!

Hopefully they filmed a ton of Hulk scenes.
Now all they have to do is cut 90% of them out of the movie.
Then release a special ultimate extended director edition bluray where they put the scenes back in. Then... Profit!

That's how you do it these days

@TheBeard - Seriously, this is all I want. Apparently Empire Magazine are doing a set visit for their next issue so fingers crossed we may get our first glimpse of Blanchett in that.
