Bumblebee has always been a fan-favourite in the Transformers franchise, hence why he's set to get his own movie in 2018. Before that, we'll see him return in Transformers: The Last Knight, and Michael Bay took to Twitter earlier this evening to offer up a first look at the character in his vehicular form, a custom built Camaro from General Motors. More reveals will no doubt follow over the next few weeks.

Set to be released on June 23rd next year, the movie will feature the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager as well as new roles for Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. Production on Transformers: The Last Knight is set to begin on June 6th, and will then move to currently unrevealed locations around the world as a new adventure begins. With Bay back in the director’s chair, the screenplay for the movie was written by Iron Man's Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down).

Love them or hate them, the Transformers movies have been a resounding success, earning over $3.7 billion at the worldwide box office over the course of four movies. The Last Knight is the first instalment of the franchise released since a writers room was put together to pencil out the future of this series, so it will be interesting to see how it sets up any spinoffs! What do you think of the new Bumblebee?

@SimplyAz - what happened is that after the third movie, NEST was disbanded and another organization named Cementary Wind was formed. CW like NEST was tasked to kill Decepticons, but its leader Harold Attinger (played by Kelsey Grammer) has the organization kill the Autobots too, so the Autobots are now in the run and been hiding in the years since DOTM. so basically thats why Shia was not in the movie, as the autobots were in hiding

@eagc1995 -

Oh cool, makes sense, still never really liked them but my brothers love the movies, which is strange as we normally have a similar taste in movies.
