The narrative companion to Travis Fimmel's Anduin Lothar is Toby Kebbell's Durotan, a proud orc warrior of the Frostwolf Clan.   Where Lothar is a Warrior fighting to protect his kingdom, Durotan is an invading soldier, who begins to understand the need to Rebel against his people's penchant for destruction and conquest.   Will the two leaders of The Alliance and The Horde manage to create a truce and co-exist peacefully? World of Warcraft players are well aware that there are horrors and threats out there way more perilous to the continued existence of Azeroth.

Warcraft arrives in theaters on June 10, 2016.

The film is a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Duncan Jones, the film is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production. The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share, Brent O’Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as executive producers. Rob Pardo, Chris Metzen, Nick Carpenter and Rebecca Steel Roven co-produce.

@jerryblake - Go see the new Ghostbusters afterwards. I'm thinking two horrid movies. I hope this one surprises me, but it does not look good at all and I'll wait for some other suckers to see it and let me know what they think.

@jerryblake - The lore of this is very vast, and should be LotR kind of epic. Along with Jones directing, i'm expecting great things.

I don't think this is going to make much more than $400 million

@datNAMEtho - worldwide ? or domestically ? if you mean worldwide than i think you don't underestimate WoW fans.

@datNAMEtho - even $400 million would be pretty successful for a video game movie.

@jerryblake - Sure it could make quite some money from WoW fans but it just has to be a good film in the first place. I think $400 worldwide isn't that far of a stretch. Of course, I hope it makes much more money than that!

@Django79 - I think so too, I just hope this is going to be a success both as a film and financially

I really want to see more good fantasy movies, so though I'm far from sold on this I'll give it a chance. Also I really liked pre-WOW WarCraft.

I'm not the only one who thinks this'll be a run-of-the-mill fantasy, right? It does look a smidgen better than most game adaptions. Not by much, though.
