Features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

Really like some of the designs, they make him look like someone who could actually exist and not just a comic book character. Cool stuff.

Although now that I look closer, it looks like they based the face on Alan Cummings. Weird.

Great concepts. Origins had the feel of City while it looked and played better than Asylum. Best video game series.

For the story Origins was telling, I think something like this would have been better than the final design.

This is a Joker that hasn't completely committed to the flamboyance of costumed crime. A Joker that is testing the waters of how to remain menacing while embracing a gimmick.

Agree w/ Spock ^^^ to a degree. I don't think it's a gimmick so much as he just hadn't found that suit yet. I think in a new Batman movie, I'd like to see Joker in a variety of different outfits. This ^^^, a plumber, on Hawaiian vacation, police uniform with blood on it, then the purple suit at the final/climactic showdown.

Hell, if they want to go the make up route again, or even just the pale white face, have him play around with his makeup and hair to look like a variety of different joker incarnations.

Like on one he smear blood across his face to make a smile, another he can put on lipstick, etc.
