DEBUNKED: Could Junkie XL Potentially Be A Candidate To Score The WONDER WOMAN Movie?

We're still a while away from Warner Bros. announcing who they've enlisted to score Wonder Woman, however, yesterday composer Junkie XL posted something that could potentially spell out his next project...

In case you haven't heard of Junkie XL yet, then now is really the time to start listening. He's slowly become one of Hollywood's most sought-after composers. He recently finished composing the scores to both Deadpool and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the latter of which he worked on alongside the acclaimed Hans Zimmer. In one of his recent posts on Facebook, the composer welcomed Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman to the ranks of strong female heroes such as Furiosa (Charlize Theron), Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey), and Beatrice (Shailene Woodley).

What do all these women have in common? They were all strong and powerful female leads in Mad Max: Fury Road, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Divergent, all of which are movies he composed. Now, this is pure speculation, but could this message mean that Junkie XL is a candidate to potentially score the Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman? It'll be a while before we know anything for sure, but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

UPDATE:  Junkie XL has deleted his Facebook post and took to Twitter to announce that he would not be scoring Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman hits theaters June 23, 2017.
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Säid Taghmaoui, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Lucy Davis. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Jason Fuchs.
