New WONDER WOMAN Set Video Gives A Glimpse Of Daily Life In Themyscira
A new drone video has captured filming on the set of Wonder Woman in Matera, Italy, which is doubling as Themyscira in Gal Gadot's solo DCEU feature. WB is definitely opting for practical effects.
A new video from the set of Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman, currently filming in Matera, Italy, reveals what everyday life is like in Themyscira. In fact, the set looks a lot like Game of Throne's fictional city of Mereen, a comparison that should please DCEU fans. Apparently, it's nothing out of the ordinary for a grocery list to also contain a broadsword or two. Regardless, the set looks massive and reveals that very little green screen will be used to create the home island of the Amazons.
Wonder Woman just received a new release date and will now arrive in US theaters on June 02, 2017. Jenkins directs the origin film from a script written by Jason Fuchs.
