Robin Wright's Daughter Hints At Her Mother's Role In WONDER WOMAN

As the Golden Globes took over Hollywood and television sets everywhere last night, The Hollywood Reporter managed to speak with the celebrities throughout the duration of the event. While chatting to Dylan Penn, daughter of Robin Wright and Sean Penn, THR asked if she would be attending the Golden Globes with her mother.

Penn didn't say too much, but she might've revealed an important detail about her mother's role in the upcoming DC film, Wonder Woman. “No, she’s not going,” said Penn. “She’s training to be a super hero for a movie.” Could this mean that Robin Wright is indeed Hippolyta as rumors suggest, or is Dylan just using "superhero" as a generic term for any comic book movie character?

Wonder Woman hits theaters June 23, 2017.

Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Säid Taghmaoui, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Lucy Davis. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Jason Fuchs.

I'm starting to believe more and more that she's Hippolyta and that she won't just be the mentor role

She is amazing, her role in house of cards it's very classy and show that she can be very regal, she would be an astonishing Hippolyta.

@Th0rOdinson "she should fight like this, frigga is better fighter than thor "

Not better, just different. You might as well say she's better than Thanos, if that's the case. It's just the difference between Wrestling and Karate or Jujitsu and boxing.

If she is Hippolyta, I wonder if she'll die like she has in the past in the comics. It might be a little early to do that, but l remember Diana took on a whole new personality after her mom died and it'd be cool to see that in the comics. I can't remember what story it was from, but it was one from the 90s and seeing the raw emotion on Diana after the loss of her mother was heartbreaking. So getting to see how Gal would show that scene would be one to watch.

I'm sure the actress who plays Wonder Woman will meet your expectations
in the Vivid version of the film.

She's gotta be Hippolyta. She plays a woman with power on House of Cards and she's got a athletic
frame,so I could her leading an army of Amazon's during a battle set in the distant past at the start
of the film or a climatic battle in the modern age, during the third act.

Damn I think she looks GREAT as Wonder Woman! And in the world of 2015 there is NO way in hell that the public would allow the comics version of Wonder Woman's costume in a movie. So many people would bitch about how it "negatively portrays the female form" or some junk like that
