WONDER WOMAN Gets New Release Date As Two More 'Untitled' DCEU Films Get Added To WB's Slate

Hot on the heels of 'news' that Warner Bros. is looking to make LESS films as a result of Batman v Superman failing to meet expectations, the studio has secured release dates for two more, "Untitled" DCEU films in 2018 and 2019. Could one of these be for Ben Affleck's standalone Batman film?

Warner Bros. has also moved up Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman movie from June 23, 2017 to June 02, 2017. A smart move as that puts some distance between the Amazon warriors of Themyscira and Paramount's Transformers 5.   Bad Boys 3 is the only other major release currently scheduled for June 02, however Sony will likely move that film to a later date as the
Joe Carnahan directed theequel is nowhere close to starting.

THR reports that two more, 'Untitled' DCEU films are slated for
Oct. 5, 2018 and Nov. 1, 2019. The studio has also secured the date of Oct. 6, 2017 for an Untitled WB Event film. Here's an updated list of the current DCEU release schedule.

Not sure what films are out around this date but I'll say it again. Wonder Woman should be released on Mother's Day Weekend in May.

Just looked it up. 2 films come out May 12th (Mother Day's weekend).

Barbie (Sony)
Mother/Daughter (Fox)

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 comes out a week before on May 5th.

Baywatch (Paramount) & Annabelle 2 (WB) come out May 19th.

Pirates 5 comes out May 26th.

Switch Wonder Woman and Annabelle 2's release dates and push Wonder Woman a week up.

Having Wonder Woman out Mother Day's weekend would be genius but WB has Snyder in charge of the DCEU so maybe they don't know what genius sounds like.

I'm a big Zack Snyder fan....but after the reception from critics and BO....I think Snyder should step down and stay as producer...

I loved BvS but to continue the Universe this sacrifice should happen ASAP....same things happen at Marvel...and the universe continues...

@Brainiac13 - He makes the costumes looks good, that's the only thing that he should be in charge of.

@MattBellissimo - So I'm guessing Affleck will edit Live by Night after the JL shoot ends (like in the fall of this year), which would easily give him a window to concentrate on Batman in 2017. So yeah, the October 2018 date's gotta be for Bats, right?

@ArmGunar -
The Rock is known as a franchise saver, so getting him on the screen immediately might be just what WB needs.
