WONDER WOMAN Wraps Production Today
Despite her presence being fairly brief, Gal Gadot managed to make a relatively impressive debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman and now, she's wrapped her own solo feature, which means she should start work on Justice League sooner than later.
Warner Bros.' DC Extended Universe is off to a rocky start, to say the least, but there could be some good news on the way in the shape of the Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman, which arrives in theaters June 2017, a week after Johnny Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and a week ahead of Tom Cruise's The Mummy. The film will be the first solo feature for the DC Comics icon and will star Gal Gadot, reprising her role from the critically panned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as the Amazon princess/immortal demigoddess. She'll be joined by Chris Pine (Star Trek Beyond), Lucy Davis (The Office), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House Of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), and David Thewlis (Harry Potter film series), amongst others.
Earlier today, star Gal Gadot revealed, on her personal Twitter, that the film's lengthy shoot, which kicked off back in November, will come to a close today as she wraps filming. Check out her tweet below:
Gadot will now likely head directly into the Zack Snyder-directed Justice League, which recently started filming. So, what do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below!
