Second Draft Of NEW MUTANTS Script Delivered To Fox
Josh Boone takes to Instagram to reveal that he just submitted a 2nd draft of his script for the New Mutants movie. Do you think the film could be one of Fox's upcoming, Untitled Marvel Films?
Back on October 2, 2015, Josh Boone, director of The Fault in Our Stars, turned in the first draft of his script for Fox's New Mutants movie and it looks as if he turned in the second last night. Boone's update seemingly indicates a turnaround time of 6-months for the second draft of the script. That amount of time doesn't show that Fox is fast-tracking the project but it's certainly not in development limbo either.
A few weeks ago, a rumor surfaced, indicating the New Mutants roster would feature Wolfsbane, Magik, Storm, Cannonball, Sunspot, Mirage and Professor X. Fox denied that report but film studios always deny such reports, even when it turns out they're correct.
Boone is co-writing the script with Knate Gwaltney. The film is presently without a release date but Fox has announced two, upcoming Untitled Marvel Films for October 6, 2017 and January 12, 2018.
