20th Century Fox Registers Two Possible Titles For The Next WOLVERINE Movie

Rumours have been swirling about the title of the third Wolverine movie, and it appears as if we may finally have an answer as 20th Century Fox has reportedly registered two variations of the same name...

Earlier this month, a report from a very dubious source started doing the rounds that the next Wolverine movie will be titled Weapon X. A lucky guess or a more reliable site than expected? Who knows, but according to the always trustworthy @XMenFilms Twitter account, 20th Century Fox has indeed registered both Wolverine: Weapon X and Weapon X for the upcoming R-Rated Marvel movie.

With shooting currently taking place and set photos already all over the web, the studio will hopefully reveal something official soon. The most likely place for that is probably the San Diego Comic Con next month, though this information about the title leaking could prompt something a tad sooner. Either way, let us know how you feel about "Wolverine: Weapon X" in the comment section below.

I hope this is a cool final outing for Jackman, he's the most dedicated actor CBMs have got, and it shows from almost 20 years of playing the same character

@Cth - X-1 Nothing much just leather suits no color.
X-2 Decent good nightcrawler, still leather suits with no color
X-3 God awful, a [frick]ed up version af Phionex and Angel
X Men Origins, shitty version of Deadpool, rip of Emma Frost
First Class, apology for Origins. Pretty solid all the way through. Cool new Magneto. Not original X Men lineup.
Days Of Future Past, Decent story. Shitty Blink, Bishop and Sunspot use. Quicksilver is great
Apocolyspe, [frick]ed ur Apocalypse, Mystique. No one ages. Useless use of Psylock Jubilee, Magneto, and Angel. Pointless death of Angel. Cool Wolverine cameo. New cast is [frick]ing great.
So nothing much all were meh at best.

Wolverine: Weapon X. I like this title a lot. The X-Men movies at Fox have completely lost me but i'm still on board for the solo Wolvie flicks and am actually excited for this one.

I don't care. Just give it a title. Anything. I don't care if it's called "Wolverine vs. The Puppy Warriors of FluffyLand". Just something.

Ah, damn it.

Old Man Logan would have been perfect.

I'm suddenly not as interested in this, anymore.

They just gave us an homage to Weapon X, in X-Men: Apocalypse. And I doubt that this is an adaptation of that particular graphic novel.

Anyhoo, looks like Boyd Holbrook is Sinister. You can have that one.
