Hugh Jackman's Old Man Logan Is Still On The Run In Latest WOLVERINE: WEAPON X Set Photos

There's nothing too revealing here, but the latest photos from the set of Wolverine: Weapon X show us more of Old Man Logan on the run from an unknown threat in a bullet ridden limo...

Just Jared has more photos from the New Orleans set of Wolverine 3 (which has been semi-confirmed as being titled Wolverine: Weapon X following some trademark registrations by 20th Century Fox), and these show us Hugh Jackman's Old Man Logan on the run from an unknown threat in a limo which has been riddled by bullets. Who is trying to take the clawed mutant down? Right now, we don't know!

In fact, there's a lot we don't know about this movie. Despite the signs all pointing to this being a loose adaptation of Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's Old Man Logan, it's pretty obvious that this one isn't taking place in a post apocalyptic America controlled by supervillains. With Professor X and X-23 in the mix, Jackman's final adventure as Wolverine is certainly going to be pretty damn unique anyway.

I wonder how many years past the end of Days of Future Past this is set? I'd hate for the character to go out with a whimper.

@ForceOfLegend - These people don't give a shite about continuity. They will hack this movie all the way to theaters and won't explain why Professor X is not in a floating wheelchair, or why we don't see any future technology. We'll also probably get more wallpaper mutants.

@Luminus - They could easily say a mutant killed all the technology or explain that all the future tech was because of Trask but since he is in jail, none of that stuff gets created.

Or they can just keep doing the nonsense they are doing now.

[frick] Fox.

@Luminus - unfortunately you are probably going to be proven correct. They should have set Apocalypse after Days of Future Past with the older cast. Then do this movie. Oh well, one day someone else will get it right...

I would love an awesome action film with Hugh, where he plays a cop/ soldier who has to go on some baddass mission or against some bad guys.

Originally he was meant to star in Drive.

Damn that film looked stylish............!!!
