All anyone can talk about is Wolverine after the new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer, but remember, this movie will also feature rebooted incarnations of several other fan-favourite characters, and this latest TV spot gives us a great new glimpse of one of 'em.

Will Tye Sheridan's take on Scott Summers please fans after the franchise all-but forgot the original version (James Marsden) existed? We'll find out soon enough.

Here's another cool shot of the new X-Men assembled:

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 18.

@0bstreperous - no more like 90's animated series. Needs a gold visor though.

@OnePunchBaldy - It is just NICE!!! People have to appreciate the fact that we have these heroes portrayed on the Big screen finally...OK

Scarlet witch missing her bonnet and cape
Thor never wears his helmet
Iceman is never in the right time continuum
Colossus is in Deadpool movie but not Xmen: Civil War
Marvel's Quicksilver didn't have pointy hair like Wolverine but Fox wouldn't like that
Fox's Quicksilver is a teenager and his sister is 5 years old!
There are two Howard Starks and I don't know who the real one is!
So many things are wrong but a lot of things are right so love this universe or leave it alone I guess!!!!

@incredibleTalk - Brief note about Quicksilver. The girl we saw in DoFP is his younger sister. In a deleted scene that you can watch in the "Rogue Cut" of the film, they show that Wanda is also there, presumably at her proper age, just locked away in her room unwilling to come out.
