UPDATE: New Behind-The-Scenes Photo From X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Reveals Angel's First Fight Club Opponent

The trailers have provided us with a brief glimpse at a mutant fight club where Angel has been kicking ass and taking names. Bryan Singer has just released a photo revealing one of his first victims.

A new trailer for Bryan Singer's highly anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse should be with us in the next week or so, but until then, check out this pretty neat new behind-the-scenes photo featuring Ben Hardy's Angel standing over his defeated opponent who happens to look a lot like Fred Dukes a.k.a. The Blob.

Singer doesn't confirm or deny the name of the character, but it's probably a safe bet that it is indeed the Blob, who last made a live-action appearance in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, played by Kevin Durand. So, what do you guys think? Is it the Blob? And what other mutant cameos would you like to see? Sound off with your thoughts below!

UPDATE: Plus, here are two new stills:

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse features:
Director: Bryan Singer

@FlyntCoal - It is!

Ya know, I actually like the character.

I kind of wish they eventually find a way to use him rather than throwing him into different movies played by different actors, with dubious powers, and always getting knocked on his ass.

The way things go with X-men though, he could show up in Deadpool 2 completely different and a whole lot better.

@Humperdink - I feel ya, man.

That is the best case scenario!

Same with Juggernaut, honestly. We need a Colossus VS Juggernaut fight!
