The HULK has taken L's since Avengers 2. My two cents...

@tripttwe - He "beat" Thor in Ragnarok, sorta. 😉

I'm not down on the comics tbh. But, with strange gone, and presumably the other Sorcerer's, why didn't Dormaammu attack the earth during the 5 year time gap when the stones were destroyed and no one could defend the earth?

Unless...Dormaammu was snapped as well? Can that happen? Is he a "snappable" creature?

@DannRamm113 - Dormammu being in another dimension/realm probably makes him unsnappable I would imagine. I'd need to rewatch Dr. Strange though for clues as to why he wouldn't be able to get to Earth during the 5 year gap. Been a while since I've seen it.

@DannRamm113 - I suppose it would depend on how aware he was of happenings in the MCU (whether he even knows the time stone was destroyed) and whether or not it was simply fear of it that kept him to the deal he made with Strange.

Endgame really needed a showstopper moment or 2. Dormammu or the Living Tribunal showing up could have really made things interesting.

@Ryguy88 -

But ummm....

@QuietStorm - yes.

I can't believe people complain about showstopper moments.

Endgame was a good-fanservice-style masterpiece.

This would've been super fun

I would've loved Endgame or Infinity War to start with a flashback of sorts, similar to The Cabal stuff from Dark Reign where cosmic/mythic/supernaturally powerful beings all met. This wouldn't be some super group, but moreso a way to show that there were back channels where big players from across the multiverse met and made sure they weren't stepping on each other's toes

It could show Dormammu, the Ancient One, Odin, Thanos, and any other number of people/beings yet to be introduced all meeting in a peace zone, and it's here that Thanos drops the hammer that he's going to assemble the gauntlet and the entire room goes quiet right before it cuts to black and we fade into the start of the movie

I think he will be the big bad for the third Doctor Strange movie, with probably Mordo as secondary villain

I was thinking about this a little yesterday, and I think really the biggest thing that could be considered 'plot hole' as far as the time travel insufficiently addressed is the Ancient One telling Bruce the collective of the Infinity Stones help create "what you experience as the flow of time".
So, Steve may very well have replaced them each where need be back in the past at original stolen point (minus of course Loki ganking the Tesserect) but in the present day the stones were "reduced to atoms". Not categorically, unequivocally GONE, I think they put in that line quiet specifically so the stones could still play some sort of role much later in the future of the MCU, being the size of atoms means they do technically still physically exist. But surely that kind of shrinkage would then significantly affect the "flow of time" experience...
