Vin Diesel Seemingly Confirms The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
Did Guardians Vol. 2 actor Vin Diesel (Groot) finally confirm once and for all that he and his intergalactic A-hole buddies will feature in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War movie? Sure looks that way...
Ever since Marvel announced the Avengers: Infinity War movies, we all felt it'd be a perfect opportunity to introduce the characters from James Gunn's Guardians of The Galaxy to the larger MCU, and assumed that was always the plan anyway. Since then, though, those involved with the projects - from Kevin Feige, to Gunn, to the Russo Brothers - have played it coy when asked about it, and in some cases flat out dismissed the notion as mere speculation.
Well, Vin Diesel may just have let the raccoon out of the bag. The Groot actor posted a lengthy Facebook Live video, and at one point pretty definitively states that the Guardians of The Galaxy will be in the film.
"....the Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War and that’s incredibly exciting. Incredibly exciting. Incredibly exciting and something that if you were a part of our page you knew before everybody."
While it's possible Diesel is just assuming this to be the case like the rest of us are, you would think he would know one way or the other at this stage.
What do you guys think? Can we take this as confirmation, or are you going to wait until Marvel makes it official before getting too hyped?
