Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch made her second appearance in Marvel's
Captain America: Civil War. Even though the film featured a lot of heroes, we still got a great look at Scarlet Witch's powers, and her mindset after the events in
Avengers: Age of Utlron. With Marvel Studios always expanding, could a Scarlet Witch movie be on their future films list? Even though that's highley unlikely, actress Elizabeth Olsen reveals that a solo Scarlet Witch movie is something she wouldn't oppose.
"It’s not something I’m opposed to, but it’s also something that has to make a lot of sense. I wouldn’t just do it just to do it." Olsen said to the Huffington Post.
"It’d have to make sense for how it advances in the world. But I’d be open to talking about it. I’d never say no to just an idea.” She's got a point there. Marvel just wouldn't make a Scarlet Witch movie just becuase they can. It would have to, in some way, have a great meaning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.
Plus, if Marvel still hasn't made a solo Black Widow film, I'm pretty sure a solo Scarlet Witch movie isn't something they have planned. Even so, Marvel head Kevin Feige insist that the studio is commitied to making a solo Black Widow film in the near future. In fact, he's stated that he think it
"would be fun to turn [Black Widow] into a standalone franchise." If people started asking Feige about a solo Scarlet Witch film, I'm sure he'd say the same thing. What do you think?
