Entertainment Weekly are promising new images from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and details on that R-Rated cut over the next couple of days (plus, clearly some big reveals about The Flash and a cut character based on the blurb on the covers below), but they've kicked things off with some new intel on Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. The site confirms that the villain "orchestrates a mass murder aimed at turning the two heavy hitters against each other but also uses some Kryptonian relics left behind from the Man of Steel aftermath to cook up a cosmic mutant Frankenstein— Doomsday, partially built from the remains of Michael Shannon’s General Zod." Meanwhile, they go on to describe a major role for Wonder Woman which will see Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne going on rival missions to steal Luthor's secrets. Sounds pretty cool, eh? Stay tuned for updates.

@MattBellissimo - it's going to be the best Batman we have gotten since Michael Keaton.

@mcminnjb1990 - Honestly, with the exception of George Clooney, I've enjoyed all cinematic Batmen. Each one brought different things to the table. After that takedown scene in the trailer, I am super stoked for Affleck.

@MattBellissimo - But did Clooney bring den nipples? You know the ones that gave Brian Singer that "tingle"

@MattBellissimo - Agreed. Keaton was of course one of my favorites but I really think Affleck will kill it.

I'm looking forward to more Bruce Wayne screen time too.

Damn. That doesn't even look like Affleck. Matter of fact, both covers simply look like real life Batman and Superman. Its [frick]ing crazy actually.

@Jimmierustler - Meaning?
PrincessLeather
PrincessLeather - 3/3/2016, 6:45 AM
@NeoBaggins - To me Batfleck looks more like Bruce and Batman than many of the guys before him. Not trying to start a look a like war. He reminds me of the animated Batman from the 90's series.

@PrincessLeather - Yeah, I think a lot of people are catching that TAS vibe. He has that Hero mugg.

I hope after BvS they do away with all the old man emphasis and just let him be Batman. Get rid of the grey and the make-up crows feet on his eyes. Discard that whole thing. It can get annoying, especially since he's going to be around.

@PrincessLeather - I really liked him as George Reeves in "Hollywoodland" and now I think he'll be a great Batman.

cbostont102 - 3/6/2016, 1:35 PM
@cbostont102 - He even hooked up with Martha Kent in that movie (Diane Lane)...WAIT A MINUTE....Maybe that's why Superman goes after Batman?
