Hitting bookstores on June 6, "Civil War" places its focus firmly on the Avengers as a tragic event involving the superhero community forces a rift between Captain America and Iron Man over the rights of super powered vigilantes. Much of the story is seen through the eyes of Spider-Man, who thanks to the events of the "One More Day" comic series has been firmly established as single during the events on display, though at the start his secret identity as Peter Parker remains intact.
