After two seasons which most fans seem to agree were pretty disappointing, expectations are high on Arrow during its fifth year to deliver the same quality as season two when Oliver Queen battled Deathstroke. Throwing a new group of vigilantes into the mix alongside a mysterious bad guy who doesn't hail from the comic books could achieve that, but we'll just have to wait and see it seems. 

For now though, we do at least have a cool new poster which is a step up from The CW's past efforts. Showing off the Emerald Archer's costume and a tagline which points to him doing everything within his power to save Star City, it's not a bad piece of imagery for the show's fifth season. @Super12 - I like the show, was a bit disappointed by the last season though. Hope the next one will be good. Also we must not forget that without Arrow, we don't get Flash and Legends. Maybe even the Marvel Netflix shows cause Arrow was the first in this new era of superhero tv show and showed that there is an audience for this ^^

@Meteor - Exact same here. Arrow definitely dropped after mid-season 3 when Oliver got stabbed and...somehow...came back to life. Season 4 started good, shed some dead weight in Black Canary, then slowly declined into a terrible season finale. All that aside, it's still way better than the trolls here give it credit for.

CBM fans biting the hand that feeds them, calling for Arrow to be cancelled. So stupid. W/out Arrow where would be today?

@Super12 - Exactly. It's like Iron Man with the MCU. Without him we couldn't have Civil War and Doctor Strange this year. And I love the fact that Iron Man is still around (for now)
