Here's a first look at Ridley Scott's presumed Alien prequel Prometheus. Sadly the video is of extremely low quality, and sound isn't available either. However you can still make out here and there a little. Enjoy!

Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.




Prometheus is scheduled to hit cinemas June 8th, 2012.

I didn't understand what just happened, lol. The picture is so bad and there's no sound so how is anybody supposed to figure out what's going on?

I'm really looking forward to this! Low res trailer aside, this movie is going to be awesome (makes my movie senses tingle). Sidenote: As a kid I was always like "what is that gigantic dead alien thing in the weapon!?!?" in Alien -- hopefully they expound on the origin of it (a.k.a give it more screen time) in Prometheus.
