Dude totally killer! Such a great year for CBM movies. Each one will be simply phenomenal. And this 1.5 million views in only 24 hours is something truly historic. Bring it, bring it!

@demonhunter

I said exactly the same thing in my editorial. Unless there's a significant gap between Thor and The Avengers (possibly "a year or so" was stated by Empire magazine). It would be integral to Thor's return. I'm sure her work with the "Foster theory" would have played a part in helping him return.

I just think it would be a shame if people's significant others from the solo movies didn't show up or have a mention at some point (like Pepper Potts' involvement)

IF I WAS MARVEL AND KNEW I WAS MAKING A AVENGERS MOVIE COMBINING CHARACTERS FROM ALL THESE FRANCHISES TOGETHER..I WOULD HAVE EACH SEPARATE FILM SHOOT A "CONTRIBUTION" PEICE FILMED AND SAVED TO GIVE TO THE AVENGERS FILM SO YOU HAD ALL THOSE KEY ACTORS APPEAR LIKE JANE FOSTER OR PEPPER OR TOMMY LEE JONES OR ODIN...

What about people like me who love the batman movies but by no means worships Nolan? Does that mean Im a 'Nolanite'? Because I have been called one more times than I can count for just simply stating my opinion that I like the franchise.

@Demonhunter - If ya wanna check out a timeline of possible events check out mine -

A work in progress admittedly.

One thing you may be interested in is that when I was pinning down some solid dates for the films I found that when there is the lightning storm in the Smokey Mountains in TIH is also the same day that Thor breaks into the SHIELD facility around the crater - also during a lightning storm????

Looking at the times of day could it be possible for a storm to take place in the smokey mountains and then travel westward for several days before ending up in New Mexico??

If they play up the goofy on Cap, but show that he's the first one willing to take a hit, it could work.

Pretty cool I guess. I just hope this movie isn't just action, action, action, hair flipping by ScarJo, and action with hardly any story or character development. This better be incredible and if it's anything less than that it's a fail.

And if this movie is below 2 hours and 15 minutes that will be a bad sign that it's going to feel rushed as s#it.

How is that any more footage than what we had already seen on the 10 second teaser...of this footage? :P

How about giving us an actual trailer, superbowl teasers blow ass. I'm still not excited for this yet. I need to see some more acting to be sure if this will be good or not. All I've seen so far is crappy jokes, and some action scene's.

I understand that millions watch the superbowl and I could care less about the sports, but spending tons of money on a 17 to 30 second teaser seems really pointless.

lol i love some of the stuff people comment on here.

TIH - Aftermath University Campus fight
IM 2 - Stark becomes a consaultant
Marvel One-Shot - Coulson heads to New Mexico

all happens at the same.

Dont think Marvel gives a monkeys about characters having a change of appearance... not like Rhodey getting thinner and blacker in the space of six months mattered, so i doubt Bruce Banner getting a bit chunker would matter much.

@Orphix sorry i havent caught up with you since doing the Captain America First Vengance part for your timeline. i will have a look at the other in-canon comic and see if anything else is relevent.

WHY..?? why won't everybody just ACCEPTS that The Avengers WILL be this year's TOP DOG..?? hands down. not just the summer, mind you, but the WHOLE year of 2012.

i mean, i LOVE Nolan's Batman. but we've seen that twice before already. we know it's gonna be kickin like s**t all over the box office, even WITHOUT the late Heath Ledger's Joker. The Hobbit, first of a two-parter, this time around. again..it's gonna be f****n' great... it's almost guaranteed. but, we've seen Peter Jackson and his gang being awesome in the middle earth realm.

But having 4 super heroes (with long history, each), each with his own solo movie(s) together on screen, in one huge movie, for the FIRST TIME evahhh...!!! behind the scenes, we got: Robert Downey, Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, WETA Digital, Lucas' ILM and Joss Whedon...stop tyrinna sound like the biggest cynical smart ass jerks by knocking the upcoming event movie off and just BELIEVE it WILL rock your cinematic world. No doubt.

Cant wait!

Hulk is my favorite hero from this movie!:)
Sad that i cant see Merk Ruffalo in the role of Bruce Banner. I would have gave it to Guy Pearce.

@LordDeathMan see that's what I'm afraid of, that it might turn out to be just like Transformers with all action and no substance. ugh...

The Order of the films is so

Captain America: The Frist Avenger (WW2 Scenes)
Iron-Man
Iron-Man 2
The Incredible Hulk
Thor

The only Mystery is the Part Where Cap is waken up again...I don't know what timeline he is in. I wonder if in Iron-Man 2 was that the part where Fury leave Coulson in charge or if that was when he went to talk to Selvig in regards to the Cube.
