Joss Whedon chatted a little bit with Empire Magazine about his new movie
The Cabin In The Wood, and not surprisingly he was asked about
The Avenger. More specifically he was asked about the different suits Iron Man will be wearing in the film. Whedon said that Marvel asked him to give Iron Man a different suit through out the film to continue on with the way they have done it in the past two solo films. He also said that going from the triangle chest piece back to the circle one was his own personal preference, even going as far as to call the triangle one ass.
"They (the suits) will go through some wear and tear. Marvel said, 'We like to see the suits evolve,' and I said, "Great! Then you're going back to the circle because the triangle is ass'. I'm a classicist. The circle has meaning, the triangle does not."
The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård , Samuel L. Jackson and will be released in the US on May 4, 2012 and in the UK on April 26, 2012.
