'Black Widow' Wields The Shield In New AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Still

Harley-Davidson and Marvel are once again teaming up for Avengers: Age of Ultron, with their first electric motorcycle, "Project Livewire", set to appear in the movie. The bike will be unveiled at Comic-Con later, but we now have a new still from the sequel featuring Black Widow heading into action...

Marvel have released a brand new image from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and as you can see, it features Black Widow heading into action with Captain America's shield. Where's Steve Rogers? We'll more than likely have to wait until next year to find out, but it's not really a surprise to see Joss Whedon give a female character such a cool moment. Check out the still and press release below, then be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

Today at the San Diego Comic-Con, Harley-Davidson® and Marvel Studios will introduce Project LiveWire™ – Harley-Davidson’s first electric motorcycle – to fans gathered at the annual international convention. Project LiveWire, which is featured in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, will be the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film.

The addition of Project LiveWire to Avengers: Age of Ultron confirms months of speculation that Harley-Davidson and Marvel are, indeed, teaming up again. Harley-Davidson motorcycles – including the Harley-Davidson Street 750™ featured in Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year – have appeared in a number of Marvel movies and television shows over the last several years.

“Our partnership with Marvel continues to provide thrilling platforms to showcase our latest innovations to existing and new fans of the brand,” said Dino Bernacchi, Director of U.S. Marketing at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. “Not one, but two bikes will be featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron – Project LiveWire and the all-new Street 750, which is now available at Harley-Davidson dealerships.”

While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed to get insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle. In keeping with the company’s customer-led product development approach, Harley-Davidson is taking Project LiveWire to consumers across the country. Fans in San Diego will be able to ride the bike at the San Diego Harley-Davison dealership July 25-26 and provide feedback to help shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle.

I never thought this day would happen!!! I'd like to thank Marvel Studios, Harley Davidson, electricity, Mr. Josh Wilding for writing the article, Ms. Scarlett Johansson ( I know you're pregnant, but call me), and Ms. Scarlett Johansson's stunt double who is riding the bike and whose face will be CGI'd over.

In all seriousness, that bike is pretty sweet. Wish I was at Comic-Con so I could test drive it. I wonder if it sounds like a Harley, I have a sneaking suspicion that it doesn't, but you never know. If anyone is at Comic-Con and test drives it, let us know.

@thereddesthood Thank you! Its obvious alot of comic book nerds are pretty racist as hell. "I don't care about race. I just want them to stick to the comics!" ...Yeah sure.

If this is a still, then it proves that Joss decided to shoot the film in 2.35:1 instead of 1.85:1.

It'll help give the movie a more cinematic look. Plus the lighting looks a lot less bland. I can't wait to see what Ben Davis comes up with as his work on Guardians of the Galaxy is gorgeous.

Already seen too much of this c-list character played by a b-level actress. That's my main gripe concerning Whedon. He puts a lot of work into his female characters. Usually with Buffy, Faith or any others it works because the character is likeable. Scarlet is just boring and not worthy of that large of a presence. Especially when it takes time away from far superior characters and actors.

Scarlett has nailed this role in both The Avengers and Cap 2. The dynamic between Hawkeye and the Widow as they struggle to keep up with their super powered team mates is compelling, add the protective relationship she has with Cap,and it makes for a great mix of emotion and drama, which is a critical element to any movie, action alone can't carry a movie, character development is crucial. Scarjo is playing the role well, I just wish they would have her speak some russian, or use an accent when making a snide remark once or twice.

She's probably chasing after that truck Cap is on in the set footage. That's why he probably dropped his shield and now she's taking it to him.

Sadly we can't see her face on the picture!
But I love Black Widow in MCU, she is so great and I'm really glad she keeps having an important role in those movies. Now I'd really love a Black Widow solo movie!
